I Got It!

I was teaching a class at Charis Centre recently on Genesis 18:13-14, focusing on the verse where God asks Abraham “Is anything too hard for me?”  I was delighted when one of the ladies said “I got it!!”  That got me thinking, Is anything too hard for the Lord?  And do I get it?

The aforementioned question reveals much about the Lord and what He can do.  No habit that we are trying to break is too hard for Him.  No miracles we want to see happen are too hard for God.  But we all must believe that God is with us; He is standing by us ready to make the impossible possible, for our good!

Many of us dream of becoming successful and changing the world.  We want to make the world a better place for all.  However, obstructions can come our way and shatter our dreams, confusing us, making us lose hope, thinking we can’t achieve those things and that life is not worth living.

Next time you think about throwing in the towel, remember there is nothing too hard for the Lord.  You can say “I got it!!” and keep moving, keep praying and focusing on God.  He will do wonders in your journey of life just, as the Lord did for Abraham and Sarah!
