One of our volunteers went on a mission’s trip to Romania. On her return, she shared pictures and talked about the needs of the people there. She talked about how very poor they are and how they were able to minister to the people: nurturing abandoned babies at the hospital, cooking for the children at the school, teaching Bible lessons to children, praying for lonely people in their homes, and sharing the love of Jesus wherever they went.
The ladies that attended that Bible Study were deeply impacted by what they heard and saw. There are other people in great need, others who we can hold up in prayer.
Deuteronomy 15:11 "There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your fellow Israelites who are poor and needy in your land."
